The Journalism Training Certificate provides mass media majors or minors with a focused study on Journalism.  Students interested in Broadcast Journalism are encouraged to complete this certificate program.

To earn an institutional certificate, students pass the following courses with a grade of “C” or better:

  • JOUR 3510     News Writing (3-0-3)
  • JOUR 3520     Essential Reporting Skills (1- 2 hours)
