To be eligible for ETS you must meet one or more of the following:

  • Be a current middle, junior high, or high school student
  • Be a first-generation student (first-generation  means that your parent(s) did not complete a 4-year college or university degree, regardless of other family member's level of education.)
  • Be a low-income student
  • Be an unenrolled middle or high school-aged individual referred by school administrators, counselors, teachers, or community liaisons
To apply, please follow the steps below:
  • Print the application
  • Complete the application
  • Submit your completed application to designated school personnel or directly to ETS staff at our office on VSU's campus
