Reporting to the Head of Cataloging, the Cataloging and Metadata Librarian is a key member of the Pitts Theology Library’s technical services team, contributing to the internal consistency and quality control of the data and metadata of the Library’s discovery systems and supports the discoverability and accessibility of the Library’s resources. The Cataloging and Metadata Librarian contributes to the processing of the Library’s new acquisitions by producing quality catalog records of bibliographically complex materials. PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Original and complex cataloging of monographs, periodicals, and electronic resources

Evaluating and maintaining catalog data to support resource discovery

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
