Beginning in the Summer of 2019, the Office of University Marketing and Communication has embarked on a Comprehensive Branding Initiative with the objective of standardizing the brand of the university across all units. We will accomplish this through rigorous market research, developing key messaging points, and creating consistently branded visual assets.
Upon completion of the branding initiative in Fall of 2020, the UMC will begin a series of environmental branding projects in order to extend the experience of the university’s brand into the design of our campus interiors and exteriors.
The UMC has a limited budget allocated to updating and “catching up” on branded spaces across campus in the 2019-2020 academic year. We welcome any college or department that is interested in branding their spaces to complete this environmental branding request form to request updates to spaces until the completion of the study. If selected, the UMC may assist with a portion (or all) of the cost of the project in FY20 (2019-2020).
In order to ensure that all branded exteriors and interiors of spaces remain consistent throughout the campus, all other projects to create branded spaces will remain on hold until we have completed the initial comprehensive branding initiative.
We are excited to begin this project and look forward to seeing the results! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to the Office of University Marketing and Communication.
